FIVAPE represents the French vaping sector, which is independent of the tobacco industry and accounts for 85% of the domestic market (source: Xerfi, 2025), as well as 20,000 direct jobs and 5,000 indirect jobs. As an interprofessional trade association, FIVAPE brings together industry leaders, e-liquid and device manufacturers, wholesalers, retail networks, specialty vape shops, and e-commerce retailers. It represents 878 companies. FIVAPE’s mission is to protect and develop the independent vaping industry, which has been at the forefront of the fight against tobacco use for nearly 15 years. Its commitments include: basing its positions on scientific data; helping to ensure the quality and safety of vaping products; and promoting a welcoming environment, providing advice, and supporting smokers in their efforts to quit tobacco and nicotine.
